Courtenay Roberts

Courtenay Roberts is a New Zealand trained and registered Dietitian. Courtenay has a BSc in Human Nutrition and a Postgraduate diploma in Dietetics from the University of Otago. Courtenay has a keen interest the treatment of obesity and the effects that food has on brain function and moods. Her interest in all forms of malnutrition has extended into the study or chronic illness. As part of her postgraduate study, Courtenay undertook research into the effects of malnutrition on hospitalized patients and the potential improvements that could be made to the rate of recovery when nutritional status was prioritized at meal times.


Outside of clinical work Courtenay enjoys snowboarding in winter and surfing in summer. She has a keen interest in travel and loves experiencing different cultures traditions with food.
