Fighting fatigue

Most people experience tiredness at some stage during training.

This is often due to the amount and intensity of training (although it is a good idea to check with your GP incase there is some underlying medical condition as well).

Adequate nutrition is often overlooked as a contributing factor to fatigue.

  • What are the nutritional factors that can contribute to fatigue?
  • Will vitamin and mineral supplements cure fatigue?
  • What can you do to make a difference?

This factsheet from Sports Dietitians Australia provides some valuable advice.

If you would like a nutritional assessment of the nutrients mentioned in this factsheet and an opportunity to review your own sports nutrition plans around  exercise, training and competition then contact me today.
